Expressive Graphic Novel - Writer/Illustrator, Feb 2020

Sequential story was written, designed, illustrated, and storyboarded by Kari Blak for a group exhibition at “The Chicago Art Department” titled “Seeds in my Pocket” The show features artists from a mixed background of black and brown communities around the city of Chicago, in an initiative to bridge gaps and connect different groups of people. By creatively expressing the vast commonalities we all share through history, culture, and family.
